This year the annual most important French Poodle Club show was held in the beautiful Orleans city in the Loire region very well known for its wonderful castles. Orleans is the city where the famous Joan D’Arc was born. The National D'elevage together with the Championnat de France are the most important French shows, to become French champion you have to win the CC to one of these two shows otherwise the title can not be obtained. 240 Poodles were entered and the judges were Mr Henrick Hannelius from Finland for the Standards, Mr Guy Mansecal from France for the miniatures, Mr Cassandre Mattera for the dwarves black, brown & white and Mr Laurent Pichard from Switzerland for the dwarves apricot, silver and all toy poodles. The show ground was very nice, apricot and red carpets were covering the entire rings, all partecipants of the show became a very nice present from the Club Du Caniche De France that was a towel in different colours with the Poodle Logo. Before judgement started all poodles were measured by an outsider judge (the renown Mr Roger Barenne, member of the comitee) and the size was written on the number of each dogs. This was a new rules voted by all members especially done for the National D'elevage, a very clever one, so that no discussion can come during the judgement.

In France for the CCs compete the winner of the open class with the winner of the Intermediate class, no CCs for the champion class. In  the morning no Best of Breed has been done, only the classes with the awarding of the CCs, in the evening than during Best In Shows were awarding Best Standard, Best Miniature, Best Dwarf, Best toy all colour together, than of course Best Baby, Best Puppy,Best Veteran,Best Junior, Best paire and Best breeding group.

Best Standard was judged by Mr Hannelius that has awarded the Black Standard "Samarcanda Dark Angel" (Multi Ch.Racketeer Sinner Or Saint ex Ch.Questo Inferno Rosa Di Samarcanda) bred by Mrs Lorena Merati and owned by Mr Biagio Cellamare from Italy.

Best Miniature was judged by Mr Mansecal that has awarded the Black Bitch European Ch.08 "Osmanthus Allure Sensuelle" (Sf.Int.I.Lt.Ch.Canmoy's Senator ex EurJch.Eur Ch.I.Int.Swi.A.Mc.Lux.F.Ch.Osmanthus Sortilege) bred and owned by Mr Bruno Nodalli from Italy. Second Best miniature was the black male "Starlook Samourai" (Ch.Canmoy's Ringmaster ex Ch.Artmann Black Obsession) bred by Mr Loray Patrice and owned by Mrs Lemoine Frederique. Third Best miniature was the black male "Ch.Starlook Angel Go Go Dancer" (Ch.Jeffrey Luigi Braunkonigin ex Ch.Starlook Soraya) bred and owned by Mr Loray Patrice.

Best dwarf was judged by Mr Mattera that has awarded the white German bitch "Ch.Winterdream's Icestorm " (Ch.Fisherman Der Schwarze Quirrel ex Ch.Bambola Of The White Number One) bred by Mrs Rieder and owned by Mrs Conny Weber from Germany and Mr Matteo Borelli from Italy.

Best Toy was judged by Mr Pichard that has awarded the black bitch Eur.Ch.07.Cro.F.Int.MC.BIS "Solnes Black Bacardi" (Ch.Solnes Hard Act To Follow ex Ch.Solnes Tia Maria) bred by Mrs Solveig Naess and owned by Mr Bruno Nodalli. Second best toy and best male was the black "Ch.Ziegfield American Gigolo De Chamberande" (Ch.Excell Extension At Ziegfeld ex Laurelbury Loise Quandt) bred by Mrs Quandt from the USA and owned by Mrs Annic Ollivaux.

The Best in show was judged by Mr Laurent Pichard that has awarded as follows:
