Denmark´s most winning miniature ever is no more
"Sofus" ~ Warming
Black Innovation - our pride and joy -
was put to sleep today, almost 14 years of age.
Multichampion - World Winner - countless BIS placements -
Studdog of the Year 2002 (all breeds)
Top producer with beautiful top-winning offspring.
He was an impressive dog - moved like a dream in the
show-ring -
no wonder that he could easily win Best miniature male even
from
the veteran class and at the age of 10
And at home he was the ultimate Alpha-male - a glorious king
- and
he held that position till the day he died.
During the last few weeks we could feel, that things were
not quite right anymore.
However Sofus kept his head held high - noone should contest
his leadership.
But today we had to make the sad and hard decision and lead
him on the last trip
to the vet. We owed it to him not to let him lose his
position and to be with him
til the end. Now he is resting under the appletrees in our
garden.Sofus - you
gave us so much - you will live in our hearts forever!
